Meet the Team

The onDemand CMO team consists of veteran marketing and brand strategists as well as exceptionally talented technical and promotional copywriters, print and web designers, SEO/SEM specialists, public relations and project managers.  Our core staff is easily supplemented with subject matter experts and our stable of long time consultants to provide each client the best person for the job they need done, when they need it-no more, no less.

Monique de Maio, Managing Partner & CMO

Monique de Maio is the Managing Partner & CMO of onDemand CMO, a marketing consultancy that provides marketing expertise to companies needing strategic and/or tactical marketing services.

Monique is a twenty + year marketing veteran that has been an acting CMO for agencies and companies for over eleven years—ranging in size from enterprise to start ups and SMBs in between.

Her specialties are the tech, mobility and professional services sectors. She has managed the strategic, positioning, messaging and branding process, as well as new product and service introductions/launches, indirect channel, partner and alliance marketing for clients like Avaya, 3Com, Expand Networks, Global Bay, IBM, IPC, Motorola/SymbolTechnologies, SES-Americom, Technodyne, among others.

Prior to starting her own business in 1998, Monique was Publisher of BRANDWEEK magazine–responsible for the positioning, profitability, ad sales and promotional activities of this newsweekly. During her tenure, ad pages and revenues increased by 40% and 50%, respectively. Ad sales in the marketing services category grew by over 160%.

Before joining Brandweek, Monique was the Director of Marketing and Programs for the Promotion Marketing Association --managing the conception, sales, marketing and execution of the organization’s programs and products. During her tenure, programs tripled, sponsorships doubled and revenues hit record levels. Prior to PMA, she acquired business-to-business client marketing experience at Wall St. investment firm Salomon Brothers, and at IBM. Monique is a graduate of Fordham University with an M.B.A. in Marketing and earned a B.B.A. in International Management from Pace University. Born in Paris, France, Monique is fluent in both French and Spanish.

She is on the Advisory Board of the CMO Club and is the Chair of the NJ Chapter of MENG (Marketing Executives Networking Group).
